Joni M. Mangino
Ms. Mangino has been a shareholder at Zimmer Kunz since 1991. She focuses her practice on asbestos litigation, toxic torts, employment practices, civil rights, discrimination and harassment claims, alleged wrongful discharge, professional liability and general civil litigation. Ms. Mangino has an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers. Recognition in the Bar Register is an honor extended to less than five percent of women lawyers nationwide.
Ms. Mangino is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. She has participated in asbestos mass trials in many jurisdictions. She also serves as national counsel in asbestos toxic tort litigation. She is a graduate of Duquesne Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 1985. While at Duquesne, Joni was a member of the Duquesne Law Review and a Regional Trial Moot Court Finalist. She received her undergraduate degree from Westminster College.
Presently, Ms. Mangino is a member of the Allegheny, American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the Academy of Trial Lawyers for Allegheny County. She has served as a mediator and arbitrator for both Plaintiffs and Defendants.
Ms. Mangino is married to Joseph Selep, also a shareholder at Zimmer Kunz and they are the parents of three children, Justin, Joseph and Jordan.
