Christopher M. Moreland

Member

Christopher focuses his practice on a variety of civil litigation matters including product liability, employment law, toxic tort, talc litigation, premises liability, construction litigation, and other general liability claims.  He has experience representing clients in state and federal court, throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  He has defended clients involved in actions under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).  He has a broad range of experience representing a variety of clients, some of whom were manufacturers or suppliers of heavy machinery, electrical equipment, pumps, valves, refractory materials and piping systems.

Over the years, Mr. Moreland has worked as a trusted advisor to his clients in the construction industry, helping to strengthen their internal policies and practices for purposes of risk mitigation.  He has been engaged by clients during contract negotiations to avoid potential litigation pitfalls and he has walked alongside clients involved in high-stakes litigation.  Mr. Moreland maintains a pragmatic approach, but he always aims to serve the unique goals and interests of each client.
